Women’s Ministry

Meheret Evangelical Church women’s services focus on spiritual growth and community support, providing opportunities for women to gather for fellowship and prayer (እህቶች እየተገናኙ ይጸልያሉ), encourage one another (እርስበርሳቻው ይበረታታሉ), and participate in mentoring and follow-up activities (ክትትል ያደርጋሉ). Additionally, they engage in evangelism missions (የወንጌል ሥርጭት ያደርጋሉ), fostering spiritual growth and extending their impact within the church and community.

The choir and worship team at Meheret Evangelical Church lead the congregation in worship during service times (የቤተክርስቲያንን አምልኮ በአምልኮ ሰዓቶች ይመራሉ).) They meet every week to pray, prepare, and build fellowship (በየሳምንቱ እየተገናኙ ይጸልያሉ ህብረት ያደርጋሉ), fostering unity and spiritual growth. Their worship includes heartfelt songs, prayer, and music, creating a meaningful and uplifting experience for everyone.

Deaconate Ministry

The deacons at Meheret Evangelical Church serve by helping during worship services (በአምልኮ ጊዜ ምዕመናንን ያስተናገዳሉ) , welcoming and assisting parishioners. They collect offerings, tithes, and gifts and ensure they are deposited into the bank (የቤተክርስቲያንን መባ አስራት ና ስጦታ በመሰብሰብ ወደ ባንክ ያስገባሉ). Deacons also visit church members who are facing challenges (በተለያዩ ችግሮች ውስጥ ያሉትን ምዕመናንን ይጎበኛሉ) and keep records of the church’s property (የቤተክርስቲያንን ንብረት መዝግበው ይይዛሉ). Their work is dedicated to supporting the church and its members with care and commitment.

The Children’s Ministry at Meheret Evangelical Church provides education and guidance for children by grouping them according to their ages (በቤተክርስቲያናችን ያሉትን ህጻናት በዕድሜ ከፋፍለው ያስተምራሉ ክትትትልም ያደርጋሉ). This helps ensure that each child learns and grows in a way that is suitable for their age and understanding. The ministry also supervises their activities, providing a safe and nurturing environment to support their spiritual growth. It includes activities like Sunday school, Bible stories, songs, crafts, and special events. The goal is to teach Christian values, help children grow in their faith, and support parents in raising children who love and follow God.

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry at Meheret Evangelical Church brings young people together weekly to learn and study the Bible (በየሳምንቱ እየተገናኙ መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ይማራሉ). It encourages fellowship among the youth (ሕብረት ያደርጋሉ), fostering strong relationships and unity. Together, they worship the Lord (በጋራ ሆነው ጌታን ያመልካሉ), creating a vibrant and spiritually uplifting environment to grow in their faith and strengthen their connection to God.

The follow-up team at Meheret Evangelical Church ensures that everyone stays connected to the church community. When new people attend, they record their names and reach out to help them feel welcomed and integrated (አዳዲስ ሰዎች ሲመጡ ስማቻውን በመመዝገብ ክትትል ያደርጋሉ). They also follow up with individuals who have been absent from church for various reasons (በተለያየ ምክንያት ከቤተክርስቲያን የሚቀሩትን ሰዎች ይከታተላሉ), offering support and encouragement to help them reconnect with the church family. This service strengthens the sense of belonging and care within the congregation.
